This year, Mozaik returned to the GESS show again, which is one of the most important educational expos of the Middle East. The three days we spent there were fun and quite fruitful, and wanted to share this adventure with our readers and followers.
Although it has been the 5th time Mozaik has visited Dubai, every time still feels like a completely new experience. The GESS show, traditionally held in mid-March, is always high on our list of places to be, since it is a real hub of educational ideas and provides an amazing opportunity to showcase our products. Attracting visitors from GCC countries as well as Africa and Southeast Asia, it is an excellent place to present all our Arabic content. As mozaBook has been fully “arabized”, it garnered praise and attention from fellow exhibitors and visitors alike. In particular, the narrated animations of our 3D models and the subtitles of our videos - available in Arabic, of course - seemed to impress a lot of people.
It might have just been the awesome weather, but everyone seemed very happy to be attending the exhibition. GESS was the perfect place to catch up with old friends and make some new ones, too. As always, Mozaik’s stand was extremely busy, often making us wish we had more interactive displays and more manpower to promote mozaBook.

This year’s DIDACTA Stuttgart was only the second time Mozaik Educaton exhibited at this expo, but we already felt at home. DIDACTA is somewhat different from other annual educational fairs because it is hosted in rotation by three German cities: Cologne, Stuttgart and Hannover, which makes it even more exciting to attend.
We are very proud of our own Eszter Hosszu for presenting at our partner RICOH Germany’s stand. Not only did she give an amazing presentation on Darwin’s theory of evolution but also showcased our redesigned and improved second generation classwork function. Using RICOH devices, Eszter was sending exercises to the “students”. Those pretend students enthusiastically solved the exercises and sent them back to the teacher device.
We are already looking forward to next year’s DIDACTA Fair that will take place in Hannover. In the meantime, if you love mozaBook and trade shows as much as we do, please check out our exhibition timetable and drop us a line at [email protected] to arrange a meeting at one of them.

This January, Mozaik Education was delighted to host a group of teachers from Tallinna Reaalkool. Tallinna Reaalkool, or Tallinn Secondary School of Science as it is called in English, is one of the oldest schools in Tallinn. It was established in 1881 and is located very close to the old city of Tallinn. The principal of the School, Mrs. Ene Saar, is striving to introduce new teaching methods within the school and aims to provide her teachers with opportunities to have access to the best educational events, products and ideas from all over the world. We first met Mrs. Saar at the BETT show in 2016 and are very delighted that our relations with Tallinna Reaalkool came such a long way. We hope to see mozaBook used in many Estonian schools in the near future and are sure that Tallinna Reaalkool will be our partner in this journey.
Seven teachers from Tallinna Reaalkool and a Professor of Geography from the University of Tartu were trained in mozaBook wizardry for 5 full days and, we must admit, the results were impressive! All the trainees took a lot of interest in the material, worked hard and learned a lot during the training. It is always very interesting and fulfilling to work with practicing teachers: they ask the best questions, create the most interesting exercises, and give the best feedback. This time was no exception; among other things, teachers from Tallinna Reaalkool developed a complex Math presentation integrated with PDF workbooks and a colourful animated presentation for primary school pupils.
However, it was not all work for our guests, they also managed to fit in some fun activities. After long days at our training centre, they usually enthusiastically headed towards one of the city sights. They visited the Ferenc Móra Museum, Anna Bath, Szegedi Dom and the Synagogue, which is the 4th largest in the world. It was nice to see people take so much interest in Mozaik’s home town and happily pace its streets in the cold Winter weather.
If you would like to have an experience similar to that of Tallinna Reaalkool’s teachers, please email us at [email protected].

New year, new BETT show. This is one of Mozaik’s most important credos. As a long-time attendee, London is always calling us in January to take part in one of the largest educational expos in the world. How could we possibly resist?! BETT provides the perfect opportunity to network, meet and catch up with partners, and present mozaBook to Ministries, publishers, and potential distributor partners as well as our most important audience: teachers.
We are proud to say educators from all over the world visited our stand this year; we met teachers from the United Arab Emirates to Finland. We exchanged business cards with representatives of Chinese, Mexican, Lithuanian, and Italian companies. The show garners so much international attention, we barely met anybody from the UK! The funniest example of this was undoubtedly when a Hungarian delegation of teachers told us how proud they were to find our products showcased all the way in London.
Thankfully, our stand was always buzzing with people and excitement, and was probably one of the busiest spots in the entire hall. We even had guided tours that had us on their radar - Mozaik’s booth was often a scheduled stop as some larger groups made their way across the exhibition’s floor. It is undeniable that the bilingual mode of our 3Ds was the star of the show. Along with our tools and games, which even made a few adults weak in the knees, our interactive content was definitely one of the unique points of BETT. However, our stand was not the only place to meet Mozaik: a few of our partners, like Samsung, were also showing mozaBook on their displays.
We are certain our participation in this year’s event will translate into further opportunities and benefits all around. By making a small change with mozaBook in one classroom, we can gradually place education where it truly belongs: the 21st century. Having said that, the BETT show continues to be the number one platform for innovators in the field, so the children of the future can become the pioneers they deserve to be.
We can hardly wait for next year’s amazing experience!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, which is why Mozaik has dressed its 3Ds accordingly. This holiday season, even our awesome educational content is feeling festive. We have winter-appropriate frost and icicles as decoration, which immediately makes you feel the need to get your fuzzy mittens out. You might even spot Santa Claus, and this time around, he’s giving cool gifts to all kids, whether naughty or nice.
So just wrap up in a blanket, grab some hot chocolate and get into the holiday spirit with us! Who needs Christmas movies when you have mozaWeb?
From all of us here at Mozaik Education, have an amazing Christmas and a very happy New Year!
The mozaTeam has been really busy these last couple of weeks. As you may know, we exhibited at the Frankfurt Bookfair in October. However, that was nothing compared to last week, when Mozaik Education participated in 4 different events in various countries all over Central Europe. In addition, we were invited to attend the Education and Sport in the Prosperous Epoch of the Powerful State conference organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat as well. For a quick look at our time abroad, check out our Facebook page, where you can find photos from the Elementary Schools Principals’ Meeting in Dubrovnik, Croatia; the Pro Školy a Školky exhibition in Prague, the Czech Republic; Bibliotéka - Pedagogika in Bratislava, Slovakia; and Interpädagogica Wien in Vienna, Austria.
In other, even more exciting news, we also got word last week that we have been shortlisted in 2 categories as a finalist for the BETT Awards 2017. This year, Mozaik is running for the title of both ‘International Digital Education Resource’ and ‘Primary Digital Content’! The BETT Awards, much like the BETT Show - which is currently the largest education technology exhibition in the world - are held in London every year, with the most prominent players in education participating. All the most modern and innovative equipment and content are presented, so you can imagine how thrilled we were when we got the notification we had been shortlisted for this accolade.
First of all, congratulations and a giant virtual round of applause to our team of developers, designers, education specialists and innovators. This nomination reflects all their hard work and all the energy they have invested into making the imaginative and powerful tool that is mozaBook. Even though there are always adjustments to be made or fine-tuning to be done, this only goes to show how important mozaBook is to us.
Secondly, let us express how grateful and proud we are that our software is acknowledged as groundbreaking not only by its users, that is teachers and student, but that we receive recognition from our peers in the education community at the same time. It is always an honor to be up for an award, but to be hand-picked by a panel of judges and named as one of the best in our field is truly extraordinary. We hope that thanks to this wonderful opportunity, more people will get to know Mozaik Education and what it stands for.
Finally, thank you to you, our user and subscriber. You have helped us make mozaBook better with your feedback, which is essential in tailoring our product to your needs. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement and your enthusiasm when we meet at exhibitions or training events; it makes our job so much easier - and obviously makes us very happy - when we get incredibly positive reactions (in Vienna, this was usually expressed by: “So cool!”) and supportive remarks from people encountering mozaBook for the first time. This is when we honestly feel like all our efforts have paid off.
How have you been doing? Are you also on the road? We would love to hear from you, too. Please leave a comment, or feel free to get in touch with us on any of our contact channels.
